Easy High Protein Snack to Prepare Ahead

Hi there, I just wanted to show you a really easy snack. My husband pre-makes this at the start of the week. It's high protein, got some real goodness in there because it's got fruit but also our nuts and seeds.

The Base: Greek Yoghurt

So along with the yogurt, it is a wonderful high protein snack, not hard to make. So simply put, we have it all mixed with Greek yogurt. So Greek yogurt's in there.

Add-Ins: Nuts, seeds, oats, fruit

We've got the sunflower seeds, we've got pumpkin seeds, you could throw some dried cranberries in there, got walnuts in there, got almonds in there and I'm pretty sure he used up the rest of the cashews in there as well. So you can be putting whatever you want in there. He has put some grapes in there, also bananas and apples so they're fresh and just gone straight into the whole thing.

Ready to Grab and Go

And then when you want to get some, it is part of what we've got in here. I've just taken some out here and this is what you'll have. Great little snack in the day, so easy to do, you don't even have to think about it.

You know you've already got some really nourishing high protein food in the fridge for you for those moments you just feel a little bit peckish and you want to have a nice snack, this could be your go-to. Try it out. And you know, there's no set thing for this.

Customise and Experiment

Oh, if I didn't already say we also put rolled oats in there as well, traditional ones so that they don't break down as easily. And so yeah, so you can put whatever you want in here, play around with it, might put some figs in there, you know they're great as well, we've had those in there before. I think food and nourishing foods are all about experimentation, knowing which foods are already good for you and then putting them together and this makes a perfect perfect snack.
